Silestone is a compound made up of 94% natural quartz, which make it extraordinarily hard and resilient. This is the one and only work top made of quartz with anti-bacterial protection, giving it hygienic properties that are not to be found anywhere else on the market. It is an excellent surface for kitchen work tops, bathrooms, floors and wall cladding using the minimum number of joints.

In addition, it comes in a variety of different shades of quartz colour, offering a number of decorative possibilities from a mere kitchen top to a project for a complete set of furniture. Silestone is an investment for the future. Silestone is forever.

The natural quartz in Silestone makes it the toughest interior surface available on the market. It resists scratching, staining and scorching better than any other natural stone or solid surface.  Don't worry about spills from coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, makeup, and many other common household products; just avoid harsh chemicals. And don't worry about dropping a lit match onto your Silestone countertop; it won't scorch. But, use trivets when placing any hot items to avoid thermal shock.

WHAT IS SILESTONE

Silestone is a non-porous surface and highly resistant to stains from coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, makeup and many other everyday products.

STAIN RESISTANT

Quartz is one of the hardest minerals in the world. This makes our products very durable, with a high level of resistance to external aggressions.

HIGH ACID AND SCRATCH RESISTANT

Silestone's high impact resistance exceeds other similar products such as granite and solid surfaces. This feature guarantees safety in your kitchen when handling hard objects (pots, pans, etc.).

This resistance is achieved thanks to its quartz hardness, its polyester resin elasticity and its vibrocompression system used during its production.

IMPACT RESISTANT

Silestone is the only brand that contains a unique bacteriostatic formula developed by Cosentino that is based on the use of latest generation silver ions to prevent the propagation of bacteria. With this formula, Silestone surfaces for kitchen and bathroom offer a protection added value.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Another advantage of Silestone quartz surfaces is that it is easy to keep clean and maintain. In most cases it just needs to be wiped over with a dry cloth to remove the dirt. Instructions are given below for enjoying your Silestone quartz worktop in optimum conditions.

For Silestone Quartz with a polished finish, we recommend you use a mild household cleaner. In case of stubborn spills or stains, soak the area for up to 10 minutes with one of the above cleaners and vigorously wipe away with a non-scratch pad.
